If dancing after midnight counts, then I’m including it as part of my workout of the day!
Later that morning, my family and I went to the football field in town and did whatever we wanted – sprints, intervals with the medicine ball, pull ups in the playground, etc. I won’t say I did any stellar workouts today as I was still recovering from Girls Night Out, but I did a quick circuit running up and down the seats in the stands. Then we all tortured ourselves by running up the hill. We even made the kids do it, but they mostly walked. It’s less than two minutes, but straight up. Legs and lungs were screaming. And so were we.
Down in Foxboro that afternoon. we watched the Patriots put themselves through their own torture training on the field at their training camp. And they did it with helmets on in the awful heat. Bad ass.
